How to make the most of Promote
Once you deliver your music, it’s time to share it with the world. Promote has the tools to help you do just that. Available in the Artists iOS app and on Apple Music for Artists on the web, the Promote feature allows you to share the excitement around your releases and accomplishments with your fans and reach new listeners.
With resources in Promote you can:
- Create and customize assets to market albums, songs, and music videos.
- Promote Milestones with your fans, such as when your song is added to a playlist.
- Share links driving to Apple Music and other music services using Linkfire technology.
Three ways to use Promote
Create and customize assets to market albums, songs, and music videos.
In the Promote tab, select a song, album, or music video to start promoting a release. Pick between two design templates, update the background color, preview each layout, and choose which asset sizes you want to create.

Share big moments with your fans.
Celebrate your song being added to a playlist or all-time bests across Apple Music and Shazam by promoting a Milestone then posting it on your social media accounts. From the Artists iOS app, select your Milestone achievement and customize your share asset. When you post your Milestone to social media, we’ll create a Linkfire link that drives to Apple Music.

Download custom images and post to social media using the Linkfire link provided. The Linkfire link allows fans who click on your post to choose the music streaming service they want to listen on.
