iOS 26: What's new for Apple Music
iOS 26 introduces new features and enhancements that transform the way you create content and experience Apple Music. Find out how to make your lyrics eligible for translation and pronunciation on Apple Music, explore Voice Memos updates, discover AutoMix, learn how to turn your iPhone into a mic, and connect with fans when they take concert pictures in Photos.
Introducing Lyrics Translation and Pronunciation
Help Apple Music users across the globe understand and sing along to your lyrics in their native language with Lyrics Translation and Pronunciation. To make your content eligible for this new feature, submit your original lyrics of a song to Apple Music.
If your song is translated, the lyrics will automatically appear in Apple Music when a user taps play, then taps the MiniPlayer, and enters lyrics view.

Voice Memos enhancements
Record lyrics or ideas in Spatial Audio to get vocal booth-quality sound with the Studio Voice setting in Voice Memos. Recording in Spatial Audio delivers a multidimensional listening experience for users with supported devices.
Spatial Audio recording is selected by default in the latest version of Voice Memos. When using Spatial Audio, select Studio Voice in the playback options to turn on the feature.
Help your collaborators hear exactly what you recorded with Enhanced Sharing in Voice Memos. Enhanced Sharing includes all of the playback settings you applied to the recording, for a consistent listening experience across devices. To activate this feature, simply share your voice memo from the recording settings after all your edits are complete.
Collaborate with the Notes App
It’s even easier to collaborate with the Notes App. Now, you can export and import notes in Markdown format to see edits and suggestions from your creative team. Also, create and edit notes on the go straight from your Apple Watch.
Smoothly transition songs with AutoMix
AutoMix operates like a DJ in Apple Music, smoothly transitioning songs for a seamless playback experience. Stay immersed in the moment without any silence between songs. AutoMix is on by default in Apple Music.
Turn an iPhone into a mic in Sing
With Sing in Apple Music, you can turn your iPhone into a mic for Apple TV. Use an iPhone to amplify your voice and sing to your favorite songs, or start an impromptu karaoke night with friends.
This feature is available on the latest Apple TV. To activate, tap the Sing icon on the Home Screen, select a playlist, and tap Start Singing. Tap Accept on the invite banner on iPhone to start singing.
Connect with fans through concerts in Photos
Photos now gives fans a new way to relive the moments they’ve captured and reconnect with the music they love. Photos and videos associated with a concert will now display a ticket icon. Users can tap this icon, then the event description, to bring up the concert event page in the Photos app. These pages include links to the event details, featured Apple Music playlists, upcoming shows, and more.
Set List playlists that you create and assign to concert dates in Apple Music for Artists will now have the opportunity to display on corresponding event pages in Photos. Note that concert dates are provided by Bandsintown or Ticketmaster.
