Up Next has gone global

Apple Music expands Up Next artist spotlight program into local countries and regions around the world

Apple Music’s cutting-edge Up Next artist initiative identifies and showcases rising talent through a monthly, multifaceted global editorial and marketing campaign. The platform spotlights new artists in select countries and regions around the world. A monthly rotation of new Up Next artists to watch will receive local spotlights across Canada, Australia, the UK, South Africa, India, France, Germany, Latin America, Russia, Greater China, and Japan.

As the newest Up Next artist to be spotlighted in their country or region, each artist will be featured across Apple Music’s new localized Up Next playlist. The curated Up Next playlist features a dynamic class of new and emerging artists, thoughtfully handpicked by Apple Music editors from around the world. The playlist is genre-agnostic and represents a lineup of artists our global editors are passionate about and eager to expose to a larger audience.

Since debuting in 2017, the vast Up Next roster of past global talent includes Grammy-award winning and critically lauded talent like 6lack, Daniel Caesar, H.E.R., Greta Van Fleet, Khalid, Amy Shark, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Claudio, Sigrid, Mr Eazi, Stefflon Don, Bad Bunny, Juice WRLD, Bazzi, Jax Jones, NCT 127, Summer Walker, Tierra Whack, Dean Lewis, Pink Sweat$, Koffee, Megan Thee Stallion, Burna Boy, Clairo, Lunay, Jessie Reyez, Orville Peck, Victoria Monét, Ingrid Andress, Conan Gray, Don Toliver, Rema, BENEE, Holly Humberstone, Natanael Cano, GIVĒON, beabadoobee, Arlo Parks, Tate McRae, and Zoe Wees.
